Noir Accents Event Decor & Rental Services

1 Bookings & Payments

  • For setups under $500: Full payment must be paid upfront to secure your booking.
  • For setups over $500: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due 7 days before the event date.
  • Payments can be made via e-transfer or cash.
  • No services will be rendered until payment is completed.

2 Security Requirements

  • A valid driver's license must be provided and kept on file for all rentals and services.
  • A credit card must be provided and kept on file as security for lost or damaged items.
  • The credit card will only be charged in the event of lost, damaged, or unreturned items at their full replacement cost.
  • The credit card will be released from our records 7 days after all items are returned in satisfactory condition.

3 Rentals

  • Rental items remain the sole property of the Company at all times.
  • The Client is responsible for all rented items from the time of delivery/pick-up until the time of return.
  • Damaged, lost, or stolen items will be charged at their full replacement cost.
  • Items must be returned in the same condition as received, free of damage, stains, or excessive wear.
  • Rental periods are defined per agreement. Late returns may incur additional fees.

4 Setups & Installations

  • The Company is responsible for the setup and takedown of décor when included in your package.
  • Clients must ensure venue access and sufficient time for setup/takedown. Additional charges may apply for delays outside our control.
  • The Client must confirm all measurements, layout, and venue requirements in advance.

5 Event Coordination

  • The Company will provide event coordination services as outlined in the signed agreement or package selected.
  • The Client must provide accurate event details and vendor contacts.
  • The Company is not responsible for vendor delays, cancellations, or failures outside of our control.

6 Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event may be eligible for a partial refund of amounts paid beyond the deposit.
  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event are non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling may be accommodated subject to availability and at the Company's discretion.

7 Liability & Indemnity

  • The Company is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages caused by misuse of rental items or décor.
  • The Client assumes full responsibility for the safety of all guests, vendors, and participants at the event.
  • The Company shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or damages caused by unforeseen circumstances such as weather, venue restrictions, strikes, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.

8 Client Responsibilities

  • The Client is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, approvals, and venue permissions.
  • The Client agrees to provide accurate details regarding the event and to communicate any changes in a timely manner.
  • The Client agrees not to move, alter, or misuse Company décor or rental items without permission.

9 Photography & Marketing

  • The Company reserves the right to photograph and/or video décor and setups for marketing and portfolio purposes.
  • If the Client wishes to opt out, they must notify the Company in writing before the event.

10 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada.

11 Agreement

By booking with Accents Noir, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
